Amiya's Thesis Interest
I'm very passionate about action, superhero, and fantasy world films, such as Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel's Avengers, and Wonder Woman. Within those films I'm interested in the representation of female characters and their role in the group of other the characters they are associated with. Right now the book that I could relate this to is Zodiac.
Book wise, maybe you could use the Scarlet Letter as an example of female power. Also you could possibly use Star Wars as an example of how female characters are strong in relation to other characters within films.
ReplyDeleteYES AMIYA!!!!!!!! If you want to discuss female power, Lady Macbeth might be an interesting character to analyze! Also, I would suggest looking at Joss Whedon's god-awful characterization of Natasha in Age of Ultron :)
